SUS downgraded my firmware from 4.3 to 4.1.2

Hi! I have strange problem over here! Sony Update Service downgraded my Xperia V software from JB 4.3 (9.2.A.0.295) to 4.1.2 (9.1.A.1.140)... I checked SUS hoping that my Xperia V will get JB 4.3 (9.2.A.1.199) and SUS said that new software is available, i upgraded and BAM! Now i have JB 4.1.2 (9.1.A.1.140)... Anyone got this problem? Or i'm just so unlucky..?

Its good for now for you, because current updates have lots of bugs,
Old 4.1 version have some less features but that was very
Clean.

I think I'm having the same problem. I bought the phone two days ago and updated the system. Now I have 4.1.2 and the update service says that there are no updates for my system.

I will try now to update through the computer.

Does anybody knows more about this issue. If Sony stoped the updates, there should be an announcement of that decission.

No luck with the pc upgrade. The current version is 4.1.2 but the computer says that it is up to date.

Any help?

I think I'm going to keep this 4.1.2 version, which I luckily got back. It works fine and I'm happy that the phone is usable again. No need to charge it during the workday as was the case with the 9.2.A.1.210. The camera and gps are also working well. The only annoying feature is that an update message appeared again in the status bar, and I can't get rid of it. Nevertheless, I will not upgrade again in the near future, probably not at all.

Sorry, it was the 9.2.A.1.199 that I downgraded from, not the 210 which is now available according to the status bar message. Still not going to upgrade, 4.1.2 works fine.

Hey there. The same thing happened to me, and after the phone was in the shop for a fix because 4.3 was buggy and made it force restart. They did their own update and it reverted the software...I did it again on my own, companion said that new software was available - and yet again installed 4.1.2, as it turned out. It would have been very disapointing if the 4.3 had worked. This way..who knows :). Any advice?
