which pendrive brand/model works with xperia u with usb otg cable

Hi guys i bought a usb otg cable for my xperia u and i have successfully connected a mouse and an old 1 gb pendrive (i dont know the brand) with it.

So I ordered an 8 gb Transcend Jetflash 300 pendrive for it but it is giving me a power consumption error on the phone.

If anyone has tried a 4gb or 8gb pendrive that actually works with the phone can you tell me the model and brand of the pendrive.

sure, i too bought it and it works awesome..super fast/never hangs..i have Sandisk Cruzer 16 GB so i found it strange a lot that how cant a 8gb is giving error which 16 gb is being run fast.. i would advice all to buy this only as its cheapest n dont have led which consumes power uselessly...

you must try kingston. transcend don t work.

Same for me, some sticks do not work, Sandisk cruzer works fine.

As I found it very useful, I bought one of these:

BUT - it only works with Samsung phones, tried it successfully on friends' S2 and S3, not worling on Galaxy Nexus and also not on my XPU - this one supposes to be connected to a computer and shows that it starts "charging" 🙂
