Xperia T keeps restarting / reeboting few times daily

hi.

I have xperia T about 2 months old,  bought used from friend.

from 2-3 weeks my xperia T keeps restarting many times daily

- when making calls , when using internet. when making sms massages ,  etc.

tryied hard reset, soft reset,  PC companion restore, turn off all notification, switch off internet connection ,

and always have same problem...

not sure but I think  its happend after upgrade to new Android update version 91.A.0.489

please help!!

Did you try the Repair My Phone option when you used SUS?

Also try,

Settings >> Apps >> Menu (3 dots) >> Reset App Preferences

then do a Factory Reset again.

The next firmware update is April.

well,  I try everything....

and I m sure now its happend when DATA Traffic is ON  ( basically when Im using internet )

few minutes using of internet and phone restarting...

after switching OFF data traffic , phone works ok for all day.

My wife's Sony Xperia T kept restarting when she turned Data Traffic ON. Tried updating & Resetting nothing worked. But I switched off & removed SD card and turned on and switched on Data Traffic and it seems to be working fine so far

I have an Acro S, and I have the same problem.

If I turn ON data traffic, it will restart as often as it will want. with data off it seems to be working fine.

after few months of discussions with sony, and after doing repair, soft and hard reset there seems to be no change.

I changed my sim card from another service provider (another SIM, another operator) and it works as it should.

could someone tell me what could be wrong with the service provider?

btw, I already replaced a sim card on my service operator.

Hi there,
I had the same problem happen to me. I purchased my Xperia T in October 2012 and have only been experiencing these restarts for about 2 weeks from now. The gut feeling I had that started this was after I was using my phone as a GPS and charging it in my car at the same time, my phone became really hot and shut itself down.
Anyways, I almost 100% knew it was the battery. SO, I went online to purchase a Brand new battery and replaced it myself. After 2 days use, it is as good as New! (so far) Proving more to the point that is was indeed the battery.
I knew that if I sent it to Sony they would take too long and possibly not even fix it. Instead it took me a few mins to look for the New battery and less than 30 mins to install it!
