KDL-40R483B turns on and off three times then a red LED flashes 6 times.

My Sony LCD KDL-40R483B is only 4 years old and suddenly developed this issue. The tv tries to boot shows the Sony logo 3 times then goes black and the red LED flashes 6 times. I have changed the power supply it made no difference. What is the issue? Thanks Lisa

Hi @Lisa_Jane1312  Unfortunately red flashing lights is not a good sign for your 4 year old (2014) TV or any TV. The chances are it needs to be repaired. I would contact the Sony Support Centre for your country or region and get an estimate. The chances are the repair will cost more than a new TV.
