This TV is about 2 years old, it started doing some odd things, about 5 days ago it went in to shop demo mode, flashing up all kind of tv features while we were watching a film, restored factory setting to cure that one, took a couple of days to sort this out, then next day the volume just goes up to max after about 2 hours use, turn it off and its ok for a while then it does it again, its not the remote because we took the batteries our and it still doing it.
If you turn the volume down as soon as you take you finger off the button it goes up again.
going into the menu mode is difficult when it starts doing this as its as if your pressing the left button so trying to scroll right to get to the factory setting is impossible. Shut it off until the next day and it works fine for a while then starts again with the funny volume thing. The volume bar show on the screen but the green light that indicates when the remote is working the functions does not light up so seems like something in the tv.
any one heard of anything like this before.
a couple of time other setting menus have flashing up on the screen when it starts to play silly.
