Hi
On my Sony VAIO laptop VPCZ21M9E , I have 2 problems:
- The Windows do not boot.(Message: the operating system not found)
- by USB booting, I can see my laptop`s storage`s files, but most of them cannot be copied.
When check the storage with chkdsk.exe /b command, It return with many "Disk Read Error" and "the disk does not have enough space to replace bad clusters" error messages.I find out by using other HDD test software that one of RAID0 SSD has read error.
I think I lost many personal files but there is a chance if I try some SSD diagnostic softwares , but I cannot find such softwares. the model of these SSDs are SAMSUNG MZRPA128 64GB and in Samsung or VAIO support site , there is no offered software for this perpose. The SAMSUNG site hasn`t got this model and Samsung Magician donot work with OEM Drives) , please direct me to a an appropriate SSD diagnostic software.
In case I need to break RAID0 and reformat SSDs, I cannot find a bootable Rescue Disk in the Download webpage of laptop VPCZ21M9E , please also tell me If the is a a link to such program.
Hi Esikhoob,
Welcome to our community!
You can try the inbuilt hardware diagnostics instead as I don't think there's a compatible SSD diagnostic software. You'll find instruction on this link for different operating systems. Ultimately, I think you'll need to have your VAIO inspected at an authorised Sony service centre but it helps to know what errors or faults beforehand.

Thank you for your replay
I finnaly , break the RAID0 and format the harddisk as 2 individual disk and Install a new Windows .
Problems with SSD is gone as far as I test.
Hi Esikhoob,
I'm glad to know it's been sorted for now.
