Sony Xperia S having problems with internet connection....HELP!!

Hi, I'm new here but i was wondering if anyone has had this problem. I have a new router the DSL-3680 and now my wifi connection on the Xperia S is virtually non exsistent! Can anyone help? My phone signal is really bad and i rely on the wifi connection but I don't know how to fix this.

If its any consolation I am in the same boat. Sony have had it back twice and its not even 3 months old. If I find an answer I'll let you know. Sony have gone down the tubes as far as I'm concerned.
