Experia X Compact Screen stopped working

Hi, today suddenley my screen stopped working. The phone is running as when i got a friend to call me the phone rings but the screen doesnt activate. I can see it slightly lighting up when i press the power button. Tried the power off and reset methods but nothing has worked, Any help greatly appreciated,
