I have an "Galaxy S4". I got two new iems (in ear monitors -> kind off headphones). With the "compact" phone i wanted to increase audio quality, which succeeded.
But on max. volume the volume is too low on the one iem and on the other is it is way too low. On the "Galaxy S4" (Lineage - Android 7) both iems are loud enough. I used "vlc" and internal music players to test this.
All iems are connected through the 3,5 Jack.
How to solve this? I am almost ready to send the phone back!
Solved! Go to Solution.
I installed or flashed "Customized_DE Build-Nummer 34.4.A.2.118"
Now everything is better and audio is fine with all my iems (inn-ear-headphones).
I found out that the volume might be lowered through eu - regulations (firmware for germany). Therefore i want to flash a new firmware (i have Telekom Germany - Simlockfree), to set the phone to optimal volume levels and debrand it too! Which one to choose?
Somehow my two pictures from Xperifirm here dissapeared. So which firmware from Xperifirm to choose?
Both sound channels should be of equal volume. If not, then there may be something wrong. Regarding firmware, you might ask over at xda.
Both sound channels are of equal volume, BUT both, of equal volume, are not loud enough.
O.K. i ask at xda.
You know what, i´m gonna call Sony 9:00 o`clock, 18 Minutes from now!
