System ui is not responding

Intermittendly my xperia x applications crashed and messages shows that syetem ui is not responding. Please hlep.

There can be several causes for this behaviour.

- a malfunctioning SD card

- an abundancy of apps

In the Support app on your device you can see if and when apps are having or causing trouble.

To check what is wrong you might take out the SD card (if you have one inserted of course) and restart your device in safe mode.

When it's acting normal in safe mode then it's time to clean up.

Cleaning up is best done by performing a software repair with Xperia Companion.

Beware!

Take care that your backup is in sync and save your precious pictures beforehand on your computer.

Whatsapp and Signal can make a backup of all the app conversations as well.

Android SystemUI isn't responding error can be overcome by clearing the cache in recovery mode. ... Use the volume down key to scroll down and select ”Wipe cache partition” as shown below upsers portal. After the process is completed, select “Reboot System” which is the first option in the recovery mode screen.
