Model: Sony Xperia X Dual F5122
Android version: 8.0
I bought a smartphone in the store, used it for more than a year without any problems. Then, suddenly, when turned on, bootanimation was no longer displayed. At the same time, the smartphone turned on and worked normally. For a while, I simply ignored this problem, as I rarely reboot my smartphone. However, then I decided to do a full reset (restore) via PC Companion. Reaching 99%, he gave an error and completed the process. After that, the display stopped working, although I know for sure that the smartphone turns on: the PC sees it, there is sound when the charger is connected and when the screenshot is taken. Repeated recovery through the companion with the phone turned off was successful, but the display still doesn't work. It is just a little highlighted, but nothing more.
I tried to install other versions of the system, but to no avail. Options for hard reset with the buttons also didn't help. I encounter such a problem for the first time, and I cannot understand exactly what the problem is. Is the display dead simply because of the official flashing?
Did you try companion with the setting device not recognized or smartwatch?
If you didn't, try, maybe it helps
