So my Sony Xperia z3+ screen broke and i just want to transfer the photos from the phone to my pc.
When I connect the usb to the pc it shows up on my c: but nothing is to be found on the tab, i downloaded pc companion but it says
i have to press something on the phone to "accept" that i plugged it in...................
I can use the touchscreen but i cant see anything, anybody have an easy way of fixing this without having to use someone elses phone to mimick the "movements"?
Also should i use a simcard in it or just switch it on without?
I just want to transfer my photos. This is my 3rd sony that has broken and its getting really annoying.
Hi fobbabett,
Welcome to the community,
Have you tried connecting to a PC and then accessing the files and folders via My Computer/Computer?
You will need to swipe to unlock, if the touch screen is working then you should be able to unlock the screen with a swipe then connect to a PC.
I have only checked to see if it appears on my computer which it does, but the "folder" is completely empty.
I will try to unswipe it while its connected and see if anything happens.
I tried connecting my phone and unlocking the screen by swiping but nothing happens, i tried restarting it and kept trying a couple of times but nothing. When using PC Companion it says i have to accept access on my phone, but since i cant see its not that easy ^^
