how to sync email on x10 mini pro ?

I've set up an email account on my mini pro (NOT gmail  or exchange)  and it all works fine updating my inbox manually , howver, I cant find any settings to automatically reterive my emails peridocally ( as far I can see auto sync refers to gmail or sony  sync  or road sync for exchange). Is there any way to auto sync  an individual email account ?

I have the same problem:

I cannot find any information in the manual that mentions any "Check for incoming mail Interval" setting.

What would the point be to have a notification function for incoming mail if you cannot schedule checks against the POP / IMAP server?

I am a bit surprised that not more people have found this issue, or maybe it is related to a specific version / build?

I have version 1.6 / 2.6.29 / 1.1.A.0.8

Could someone at SEMC repond / verify?
