I keep getting the "couldn't verify update" when i try to install last update 14.4.A.0.108

Hi !
I have a Sony Xperia Z1 Compact D5503 on buil 14.3.A.0.757.

The Update center tells me I have a system update (14.4.A.0.108) to install, but, when i try it, it says that the update could not be verified.
Anybody knows what the problem is and how to correct it ?

I have the very same problem upgrading to 4.4.4 - "could not verify" - tried twice over wifi. It sounds like. Going via the PC may not solve it.

Problem is still there on my husbands phone. Ours are identical, mine updated without problem but he cant install.

I had the same msg on my xperia Z1 mobile phone... If and I say if you did unlock your bootloader there is a chance , after you download the updates , they can't be VERYFIED. So in my case worked that I RELOCKED MY BOOTLOADER... after that I could install normally all system and apps updates.

Thanks for the hints, definitely was something I installed on the system partition that caused the issue, after carefully going through and removing all the files that were installed in system/bin system/xbin, verification passed. Had the same issue with the nexus..

At what stage is sony going to fix this cause clearly its a general problem. And factor rest is not an acceptable solution.
