Android 4.4.4 rollout

Just a heads up. We should be gettings the 4.4.4 quite soon, as for the android L, Sony had promise to deliver by early '15.

Just a sneak peak, the user interface is quite similar to the Z3 and some features are also implemented on the Z2 such as the screen Super Vivid mode, Ultra Stamina mode & Retart and screen recording features on the On/Off menu.

I started this thread back in August because none of the information from the blog was available then.Since then we have had to get any info from third party sources.

If this is not the done thing maybe someone would like to show a little respect for the intelligence of their customers and at least say something along the lines of:-

We at Sony care about our customers, We understand you would like the latest news on your device development,In light of this we can only say we are at such and such stage of testing new versions to ensure we give you the best possible product.We would like to try to rollout the updates from  xx/xx/14 or xx/xx/15 but this would depend upon the new OS functioning as it should so please be patient and we will keep you updated as further information becomes available

However this did NOT happen and is merely wishful thinking

You are quite correct therefore In light of the lack of OFFICIAL communication we've had to rely on third party rumours and speculation (which have been quite if not wholy accurate)

By early '15 they mean at the end of Q1...and can you assure me that the update for xperia z2 has rolled out or it is just for the carriers...?
