can't receive incoming calls

If I am on a call, I don't receive any notifications that someone is trying to call me. The only way I know that someone was trying to call is through a third party app or they text me and tell me. The third party app is for voice mail.

Settings - Call settings - Additional settings then tick the box at the bootom

It's called Call Waiting and you can also use GSM codes:

*#43# - to check status of Call Waiting

*43# - to enable Call Waiting

#43# - to disable Call  Waiting

I don't receive incoming calls at all on my phone (sony xperia z3 dual) so I called the phone company and they said the problem with the phone not the service. Could you please tell me how to fix this issue?
