The same thing happened to me. After less than 2 months. Sony refused to replace the phone. It was there own charger that pulled the pin out and they tried to say it was "customer abuse" - whihc it was not. I know how to plug and unplug a charger without causing physical damage. - After returning the phone to them - they sent it back refusing to repair or replace it. They did however provide me (after a lenghty conversation with customer service and a supervisor) with a charging port as that is the only way to charge it now. Also - have had the phone a little over a year and it is constantly freezing now. Not sure if I just received a bad phone because some of the other comments are favorable - but for me - not so much.
PS My experience has been that Sony will not stand behind their product and trys to blame you when something goes wrong
