Desktop clock on docking

The desk top clock is rather nice. Any idea how to configure Smartconnect to enable it to start on docking? Now we have to start it from clock & Alarm...

You can add an action for the charging dock in Smartconnect. I've done so myself but the phone went up to 40C while charging since the screen was always on (dimmed).

We can only add start action alarm & clock. Want to know if the submenu desk clock can be added.

I am using magnetic dock with the supplied 1.5 A charger. No heating even with display fully on.

Go on SmartConnect. 

Click on the Events tab.

Tap the + icon on the top right.

Click on Add device.

Find Charging Dock and tap on it.

Add a time if you wish.

Then click the right arrow at the bottom.

Tap Add Start Action.

Then Tap Start Shortcut.

There you will find an app called clock. Tap that.

Add an end action if you wish.

Then tap the right arrow and type the event name/description.

All done.
