How to disable upgrade notification

I would like to disable the status bar's icon offering the upgrade to MM because I hit it too often. Is there a way to do this?

I can't upgrade, now and in the forthcoming weeks, because I need to rely on the phone stability and I can't accept the odds of upgrading.

Settings-apps-all, software update app, clear data.

Disabling the service in app settings will stop it reappearing.
