Hi,
In characteristics for Xperia Z3, there is:
camera
20.7 Megapixel camera with autofocus
2.2 MP front camera
ISO 12800 When I take a picture from the front, the image is 1920 * 1080, = 2 073 600 pixels which not correspond exactly to 2.2 MP.
But with a photo taken from the back, we get 3840 * 2160 = 8,294,400 pixels. Is far from the 20.7 Megapixels.
Is there an error in the definitions of particular features?
Solved! Go to Solution.
To change from superior auto to manual, just tap on the yellow circle with a camera and a i inside and select manual (M).
1920 x 1080 is 2.1MP but due to conversion it will be seen as 2.073.600 pixels
the 2nd part is because your phone is taking photo's in superior auto mode - You need to switch to manual mode to get the full effects

Hi,
I do not see how or where. There is nothing about this in the settings or in the full documentation of the Xperia Z3.
If you open the camera app and then tap the 3 dots it should say what the pixel density will be and if you want to take photo's in 16:9 or 4:3
