I have just registered a new Sony account but when trying to enter the IMEI number on the settings page of the support site it tells me it's an invalid format.
I have checked, double checked then checked again and the 15 digit number I am entering is definitely correct (and obviously the correct format) so I have no idea what the problem is.
The reason for entering the IMEI number is for online support, should I need to invoke the warranty at some point. The problem is without this number, the support page days I don't have any warranty.
Has anyone else had this problem and if so, is there a solution or something I'm missing?
