Hello all. I found a wallpaper that someone posted on reedit that I wanted to use. It is a 1920x1080 resolution wallpaper. When I try to set the wallpaper, sometimes it won't let me crop it correctly, and only allows me to select a small portion of the photo. Other times I'm able to properly crop it, but then after I lock the screen and wake it back up, the picture is blown up and only displays part of the picture. Has anyone encountered this before? And if so, is there a fix?
Wallpapers are not 1920x1080 They will crop to allow for portrait and landscape scrolling. This is an android setting for most phones. To get optimum 1:1 pixel ratio, the wallpaper should be set using a 3rd party app from the market.
It was not my intention to amuse you. But to get my point across. However, that does sound like a great person. That is a very deep and open minded point of view and do appreciate you thinking this way.
@uliwooly @phy I'm confused. I downloaded Pixlr but I don't see how a photo editor is supposed to help? I don't see any way to use it to set a wallpaper, and also I'm unsure how the app would prevent the phone from auto resizing/whatever it is doing to my wallpaper after I set it and put the phone to sleep

I'm using an app someone recommended to me and it set the wallpaper fine. So far my phone hasn't decided to resize the wallpaper randomly, so I think it is working fine now. Thanks
