no dial or typing sounds since android 4.4.4 update

Hi I did the software update on Sunday to android 4.4.4. Needed to connect to a laptop to do this. Since the update, I've lost the sounds when you type out a text or email or type anything come to think of it. Also no sounds when I type in a number to make a call. I've checked that all the sound options are ticked. Anybody else lost their sounds since the update?

Settings > sound > scroll down

All my sound settings are already ticked so this hasn't fixed it.

Settings, language and input, click the settings icon next to your chosen keyboard.
At bottom sound and vibration.

Settings, language and input -this has worked. Nice to get the sounds back, I missed them.
