White/bright patches on the display

My Z5 has started to get white/bright patches on the display, there mainly visible on a white background. Does anybody know if there covered under warranty

Sorry to hear this.

Your phone needs to be examined by an authorised service technician before it can be determined if this is something that is covered by our warranty. For this reason your phone needs to be sent in to our authorised service center through your local support as Uliwooly said.

Yeah I'll get it sent off this weekend. I guess I'm best to do a factory reset before posting it off. To keep my data secure

No I ment to stop people accessing my data while it's in for repair.

Yeah, that's what I meant, backup everything > reset the phone

@Adamb1 The service center should reset your phone and reinstall the software when repairing it, but you can of course do a factory reset of your phone before you send it in if you wish.
