Ethernet wireless bridge
Hi. I have a sony bravia tv which is connected to my network via ethernet. I know the tv has its own wifi direct which i can connect to but is there any way i can use the TV as a ethernet-wifi bridge and use it as a wifi hotspot. I want to connect to it with my phone as if my phone was just connected to normal wifi to use the internet

I doubt it. But what is the problem with just connecting your phone with the WiFi on the router?
My favourite bedtime reading is a Sony product manual…

Just to use it as a wifi booster in places with weak signal. Are there any apps you can download for it possibly?

Hello @Jimothy123,
no, it is not possible to use the TV as a WiFi-repeater.
What speaks against using a WiFi-repeater?
I personally would recommend the Mesh-repeaters by Tenda called "Nova MW6". You could put one of these cubes behind your TV, connect the cable which is currently plugged into your TV to its input and connect the TV directly to the cube via cable after that.
