Hello,

Kindly help.

Bought a new sony bravia tv and the television does not detect the wifi signal. I have not tried wired connection yet as all our devices are connected wireless wifi. Quite dissapointed that the issues experiencing right from first day since we purchased. Before I ring the customer service I wanted to see if this is something I can sort. Did restarting,resetting router and manually entering the details and all... From the internet it sounds like a firmware update issue but not sure.

As the tv is new, its probably updated the firmware.  But can you please check that you are on the latest?

Also, once done, do a factory reset of the TV. It can cure many issues.  See HERE.

Hi, I had the same problem.

I'm from Spain, and the regulatory laws in my country, only accepts wifi channels 1 to 11.

My router is configured to send on channel 13.

When I changed the channel, the TV find my wifi perfectly.

Check the settings for your country. TV may look only wireless networks on channels of the country in which you are working.
