New v6.0384 firmware update mutes randomly sound to soundbar

I have KD-85XH9096 TV, connected with Dacota Platinium 8K Premium HDMI cable to Samsung HW-Q96R soundbar with ARC-connection. After updating the firmware to the new 6.0384, the sound mutes randomly, multiple times per an hour. Really annoying!

Work-around is to change the sound source to local TV and then back to soundbar.

Any other way to solve this than the work-around above?

Hi,

It worked for me after the tunein uninstall. The only other option I can think of is to do a factory reset of the TV which I did as well.

Uh,

Sony should be more active and give some tips how/when they are going to solve this thing...

After I switched eARC off no sound problem have occured but whenever I switch back to eARC sound starts to mute randomly  again.

My support ticket with Sony is still open on this particular issue. I will keep chasing them for a permanent fix. I guess we all need to put more pressure on Sony to fix this.

I've unplugged the HDMI now and resorted to connecting to it via bluetooth, which works pretty well surprisingly

I had few problems, very annoying problems actually.

What I did was delete everything, and then delete again but the option for factory reset.

It's working but I will see what happens since I only did this yesterday.

By that way, no one complains about the bluetooth? I mean that if live near other people and the bluetooth is on, sometimes people will try to connect and we end up with a screen so that we accept the connection, WHY CAN'T WE HIDE THE BLUETOOTH SIGNAL? Basic option on Android.

You can disable Bluetooth under Settings - Remotes & Accessories - Bluetooth.

Sure, you can, and then how do you use the remote when you want to do voice
commands?

That's a good point @RMDAG1981 I've raised this as feedback to Sony
