Netflix is OK but no sound on main terrestrial catch up services. What an I doing wrong? New KD-48A.
Have signed to to BBCiplayer, ITVhub, All4 , My5 and UK TV Play.
The problem is either a fault or incompetance by me is a little more involved.
To watch the missing catch-up services I thought that I would cast them from my phone.
The TVs WiFi can see the home router but cannot connect to it (it had done in the past).
After a router reboot, the TV still had it listed as an available network but it would not connect to it, eventually saying "cannot find router although it was listed.
So it would appear that also cannot use Chromecast.
In the light of day this appears to be the situation.
No Youview services working, sound AND video.
Chromecast not working.
Will not connect by WiFi to to home router.
Sony Support have fixed the issues.
Basically, if the TV has a wired internet connection the WiFi does not connect, therefore no Chromecast etc.
Sony solution was to do a soft reset, disconnect the wired internet, let the WiFi connect to home router, plug in internet lead.
All now working.
