Sony KD-55XD8599 will not start anymore

Screen started to show pixels a week ago. 

Now it does not start anymore. When connecting power cable, grey (white) LED turns on on bottom of the TV, then fade away. Ca. 30 sec later LED turns on again but fades in ten seconds. This continues 20 minutes and green turns to red and blinking. Sony customer service adviced to keep remote power button down 5-10 seconds to re-start. Second alternative is keep power button (not remote) down together with (-) volume when connecting power cable. Only problem that TV does not have volume or power buttons, only in remote control.

I need to contact service, right? Any similar experience? It is only a year and couple months old.

Problem was solved by Sony customer service advice.

Lower rear part of TV - 

keep Vol- and power buttons pressed down while plug in the power cord. TV kind of deep re-started  and problem solved.
