@Chinnu4

I'm sorry to hear about your experience but have you contacted your Local support to get it inspected?

This is not Marshmallow issue, i have the same model and i successfully updated my Xperia C5 Ultra Dual. So it's lie. How i know it can be some reasons: you or others which you mentioned have rooted smartphone. To get Marshmallow need to flash, coz with Xperia Companion if bootloader is unlocked as i know impossible to get new update. So you need to flash new firmware as tft file. Most known method to flash is with Flashtool for Xperia, which bricking smartphone as you and writing. There is the same symptoms as you writing. Smartphone is like death don't turning on and don't react in any action from costumers. It's coz boot is stuck or something like this. The best is to change motherboard, rarely expert fixing this issue, coz it cost a lot of time, then stopping others works. That's how i know.

Official if you updated smartphone with Xperia Companion and yours Xperia C5 Ultra (or Dual) wasn't rooted (even bootloader wasn't unlucked) you don't have to have any problem like you writing now.  Users rooting smartphone and this is not secret. If you did not any of my mentioned things like root or flash. Bring your smartphone to authorized service and they will check where is problem. If you have warranty they perhaps will fix it for free, if they will detect any yours modification perhaps fix will cost for you. Motherboard by the way is one of expensive detail in smartphone.
