Simcard not detected
Hello @Angs, welcome to the forum!
I'm really sorry to hear that. Is this a new behaviour or something you experienced for a longer time? Do you get any error-messages in your phone?
Is it the single SIM or Dual Sim version of the Xperia C5 you have? I recommend that you start the troubleshooting by taking out your SIM-card(s) and then putting them back again. In the Single SIM version you can see how to put in your card here, and in the Dual SIM version you can see how the cards should be placed here.
You can also do a manual search for the cellphone network if you go to Settings > More > Mobile Networks > Service Providers.
Have you had the chance to try with another SIM-card in your device? Maybe you can borrow one temporarily from a friend, family member or co-worker for a while.
Please keep me posted, and have a nice day!
Hi,
I have faced this problem after my mobile warranty period is over.
I have checked with service center, they mentioned that i have to change the mother board.
Is there any possibility to get a one to srilanka?
Hi Lina,
I have tried all the trouble shooting but it doesn't work at all.

I have checked with two local technicians they said RF IC is no working
So I need to replace a motherboard
