DSC-TX5 Force Flash

My old cybershot had the ability to force the flash to flash while taking a photo but the TX5 does not seem to have this functionality. It has either Auto-Flash or Off.

Any idea if this can be enabled?

The specifications seem to imply that 'Flash On' is a menu option?

Pre-flash	YES
Red-eye Reduction	YES
Auto Daylight Synchronized Flash	YES

However, these may not all be available in Intelligent Auto shooting mode.  Are you using IA?  Try Program Auto and see what options are offered.
