I have the sony dsc-wx150 and when i try to run it on pc using xp the dvice manager says driver is not installed . when i first used the camera and plugged it in it was ok and i loaded the play memories software from it. i then decided to install the expanded features on the play memories software . when i did this the software kept freezing so i unistalled it .after that the camera does nothing when i plug it in and as i say in device manager i get the message error 28 driver not installed for this device. if i click on install driver automatically it then says inf file invalid .
any ideas or anyone have driver maybe.
cheers
Hello staffsphil - Welcome to the Sony Forums
I think that the best thing to do would be to completely remove every trace of the PlaymemoriesHome software and the camera drivers on your computer (this includes removing the program from the installed programs window in the Control Panel). After that, if you download the latest version of PlaymemoriesHome from:
http://www.sony.co.uk/support/en/product/DSC-WX150/downloads/pmhome
It should create a fresh installation which includes the hardware support for the device.
Thanks,
Simon
