Trimming down a video.

I would like to trim down the length of a movie I have recorded on my camera but don't seem able to?

In 'Play memories' I select the Edit button on the top bar, I drag my movie to the right hand side of the screen, I make sure it is selected by clicking on it and highlighting it, I select 'Trim video', but when I click on the 'Edit' button (the one on the right hand side of the screen, not the one on the top bar) - nothing happens, nothing at all.

I have read through the instructions, and it seems easy enough to do, But it does not work at all for me.

The same thing happens if I drag across a simple picture and try to use the 'Edit picture' facility - nothing happens at all when I click the 'Edit' button.

Can anyone think of what I am doing wrong?

I worked it out myself - there is yet another 'Edit' button in the bottom right hand corner of the right hand pane. Not very intuitive Sony.
