L2 flickering problem

My Sony Xperia L2 keeps flickering at the top of my screen. It flickers the triangle circle and square that's at the bottom, like its reflecting it to the top. Happened about 3 month ago and sent it to Sony and now its started again. Any help much appreciated.

hi mine started only few days ago I have tried every thing that they have told me to like a restart. turn it off and on, take SD card out then restart it  again. Place the phone in SAFE mode by pressing the power button so the options come up on the screen to turn it off restart it. press and hold the turn it it off option till you see safe mode. select it and see if it still flickers. mine did. to get it out of safe mode just restart ya phone. I've done it all I have had no luck. is this the developers way of getting rid of old phones  I don't know, anyone help please let me know

My L2 just started the same behavior, a flickering ghost image of the soft keys (triangle, square and circle) appears at the top of the screen. Android and Sony software are both up to date.  The problem is intermittant and also  present while in safe mode.

Does anybody have any suggestions on how to fix this?  Thanks.

Mines been doing it for along time now and I've had to put up with it, I'm planning on getting a new phone as I think this is a manufacturing problem with the battery being too close to the screen as I've noticed the more heated your phone is (e.g. charging or using lots of apps) the more it flickers, so try to keep your phone at a cool temperature if you don't want it to flicker as bad, but to get rid of it completely I haven't had any luck and I've had the problem for about half a year now, so I don't think there is a way to make it go, obviously an error on sonys manufacturing.
