Call goes to speaker automatically

After updating my SP to JB 4.3, every call I get is routed to the speaker when I answer the call? I have tried searching for everything in the settings, but can't find out what the problem is. It is annoying at work when I have to answer a call, suddenly the speaker comes alive when I swipe the green answer bar.

Any help is appreciated.

The latest Chrome update solved this issue. All calls are fine now.

I had the latest chrome update and it still answered on loudspeaker for me so I did Force Stop on Chrome (I couldnt find a "disable" option) and it has worked. Doing this has also stopped all Internet links (from Twitter or elsewhere) taking me straight to the Play Store!

I think this Chrome issue is more Sony than Google related. Should be solved with next Sony update, I hope.

"LAG during answering remains. The phone keeps ringing for 2-3 seconds AFTER I've answered the call (ie. slid the green handle to right) and connects after the lag."

I got the same issue..

Have you reported this problem to the chrome developers.
This is really frustrating.
Now Apps mingle with phones other performances.
Atleast you were able to find the cause. There would be n number of other problems faced by people and the culprit would be these apps.

Please do notify the chrome developers.

Seriously, Sony gives us a phone with a speaker and Chrome pre-installed, and ... they don't work together?

It's like the stamina feature wouldn't work with their LED bar ...

It's like their light sensor goes berzerk when you hold the phone ... in your hand!

I don't want to fiddle with my phone to get some basic set of features working correctly. I want to unbox it and ... use it.

Is this odd?

Yes they do: the problem is not present when using the pre-installed Chrome version (a factory reset would prove it)

Also, the bug have been fixed by a recent Chrome update (it's a Chrome bug with appears only on Xperia devices)
