Have an idea how to improve performance

I can't check b'cause I have a CM11 Android 4.4.2 but you can check it and try. There are two run-time environment available on Android. The old one named Dalvik, it's probably default one, and the new one named ART. 

Performance of ART is probably much better, due to it doesnt need to compile an application everytime it starts. Just check the developer options if you change Dalvik to ART. Try if it is possible to use ART instead of Dalvik, and let us know if your devices work better, faster, and whatever.

I'm sorry, there is probably no ART run-time on 4.3 . I'm trying it on 4.4.2 Cyanogen Mode...
