how to find my xperia's country region

Hello, I got my xperia p as a gift from my brother. I reside in India and i still haven't recieved the Jelly Bean update. I understand that as my phone doesn't belong to india and thats the reason I haven't received the Update. So someone please tell me how to find my phone's country region. Here is my serial number S/N: CB511ZMFLG.

I can unfortunately not see what country/region your phone belongs to from the S/N. I need the SI-number (printed on the box and the phones label).

even i bought my phone from middle east qatar and i m in india....xperia p and i still havent got jelly bean update as of 20 may....2013 jelly bean has already been rolled out elsewhere on 24 april...............my SI number is 1261-5974.2....please tell me my region of phone

Your phones are from middle east and Android 4.1 has not been rolled out for this region yet.
