Well, I cannot play FLAC file from the beginning 4.1.2 and now I have 4.3 OS. And till this date I cannot play. And I think I don't need  to repair because I recently upgraded.

It plays the file when I put it in default music folder but doesn't detect files in other places. And also, it doesn't detect the FLAC file when streamed from other devices. I can play mp3 files streamed/shared from my pc but cannot play/ doesn't display FLAC FILES.

If you put them somewhere else, try to clear data for media storage under settings-apps-all and restart your device.

OK, then what about the DETECTION of FLAC files on another devices ?? that are streamed across network, Walkman app can play/detect files on remote device, I can play mp3 file which are displayed on the list but FLAC files are not displayed.

Xperia SP will detect and play FLAC over DLNA but from what i've been able to find, most DLNA-servers doesn't support FLAC and doesn't share these files. I recommend that you search for another DLNA-server to your PC that supports FLAC but i suspect most will only support the required Media Format Profiles for DLNA listed here: http://www.dlna.org/dlna-for-industry/guidelines.
The media server we have in our later models supports FLAC so it works if i for example start the media server in my Z2 with FLAC-files and connect to it from an SP.
