problame with background defocus

SIr, i've tried  so many times by completing requirement of defocusiing. I put object around 30 cms from background and wait for almost 5-7 min with steady hand to blur the background, but still cant defocus background.

ACTUALLY BACKGROUND defocus doesnt work for dim light condition ... may be thats why it doent work in indoor condition ...

Guys i downloaded background defocus for my xsp...but when i captured it is saying 'unable to blur background'
I tried many times..kept my phone 15 cm away from.object...nd background is more than 5 meters away....any help guys??

I have faced the same problem....i think Background Defocus doesn't support Xperia SP....

That's why it doesn't work.....

Camera in intelligent auto takes pic of 1mb approx.. Whereas there is an app background defocus which shoots pics in 5 to 6 mb

same problem dude.. 😞 xperia m2 dual has got a kitkat update..nd still bgdefocus is nt available on playstore..nd when installed from internet sources..the app displays an eror "culd't blur background". plz help guyz
