Double image problem on sony bravia kdl40hx723

My tv has suddenly decided to show a double image.   I've turned it off and disconnected it from the power supply and then restarted after 5 minutes but no effect.   I've made sure I didn't have it in 3D mode, any suggestions?

Can you try resetting the TV which should resolve the issue for you.  More details on how to perform this here.
