Hi,
I have had a 4K tv for about 3 years now and I was ready to wait to use it properly but 3 years on , apart from a wildlife blu ray that I can watch on my 4k sony player I have not seen 4k on my TV.
Now I have infinty 2 for the first time this month, I wanted to buy BTs 4K service - but incredibly my TV is not on the 4k list as it does not have HDCP 2.2 HDMI,
Have I wasted £3000? Can any one help me "upgrade" my TV to "2.2" so I can use BT 4k so I can get some 4k viewing.
I have a very pretty, fancy HD TV , it is like having a ferrari with no engine sat on the drive.
Please help,
Cheers
Chris
Sony are advising that my TV is too OLD to be compatible with the first streaming service available to me.
So I have been sold a very expensive HD TV parading as a 4K TV (is that legal?) . I was told when I bought the TV that 4K will take a while to come out BUT no one told me that my TV would be obsolete by the time that it does. I feel conned as it is only a 4K TV if it can show 4K images.
