Trying to add Sony BRAVIA KD43X7052PBU to Harmony Remote

Hi guys, I just joined the forums today and I'm looking forward to it!

Straight to business, I got my new Sony BRAVIA KD43X7052PBU yesterday and, as usual, I wanted to add it to my Harmony remote. Surprisingly it wasn't in the database, maybe as it's a pretty recent release? Has anyone else had any similar issues? Are there any other TV's that I can add to the remote that will give me the same functions as this TV? I am doing my own research online but haven't managed to find any solutions yet so I thought I'd ask here. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you try one of the available Sony TV codes?

Usually they should work since they do not differ much between the models.

Hi, yes I get this message:

We were unable to find a match for Sony KD43X7052; however we did find 3 similar devices:

• SONY KD-43X7002E
• SONY KD-43X7000G
• SONY KD-43X7000F

none of them work unfortunately.

I would contact Harmony Support, they are normally very efficient at adding new products.

A lot of work, but you can of course learn every button on your Sony Remote.

Another approach is to see if there are any other Sony TVs that use the same Remote.

Note when searching I would use KD-43X7052. I don’t know about the P but the BU is Black UK.

Hi, thanks for the reply. Yes I tried all variations of the serial number as I explained in my last post. Harmony offered the 3 models in my post, but none seem to work. I'll contact Harmony as you suggested and see what we can do.
