TPM chip for Windows 11
Hi
Does anyone know if the Vaio SVE laptops have a TPM chip. I've run the check suggested by Microsoft and did not find a chip but I am told that it may need to be turned on in the BIOS. Otherwise it looks like I can't use Win 11.

What's the model?
I would think that most of the E series would not be windows 11 compatible without a hardware TPM 2.0 solution.
It may be worth checking this article and seeing if the TPM is present on your vaio.

No mention of a TPM chip in the BIOS so it looks like Win 11 is not feasible.
Thanks for your help

Here is another link with a work around.

It claims the M Soft fix only works for some computers but this one fixes all.

Hi guys, Sony doesn't support Windows 10, let along Windows 11! Plus, Sony sold the brand.

Well, the hardware supports win 10 and even 11 with work arounds.
Sony selling VAIO isn't an issue anyway, might as well get some use out of the pc section of the forum 😂
