controlling Sony RDR-hxd910 from tablet

Has anybody managed to control Rdr-hxd910 pvr  from Tablet S ? I cannot even  get manual learn to work.

Have you managed to control any other units? I have an  870 rather than a 910. When I got my tablet I setup my Sony TV , BDP , AV  amp   and 870 easily . Three of the units setup automatically and one I had to do manually .

Worked just fine with the Bravia, no other relevant equipment available. The odd thing is it will not even allow manual set up from IR contrller

Just tried it with a VHS machine.....that worked fine too....

Try lay down tablet on tablet then lay down the remote you want to learn on table aiming down top right corner off the tablet.

If you cant learn remote it probably cous your not aiming remote properly putting it on table makes it easy'r to aim remote.

Off at a total tangent but it seems Sony have stopped selling DVD recorders in the UK  immensely worrying for me.
