How can I add a bluetooth keyboard to my Sony S Tablet?

I have the keyboard. I have paired it up with the tablet.

But how do I add it as an input method?

after pairing, go to settings menu,language and input :keyboard, and indicate your keyboard as the input method.

this is an extra security step for blue tooth input devices, so that not somebody strange can take over input.

it works with default bluetooth keyboards, not with devices with apple-versions of the protocol.

I don't know how to indicate it as the input device, as there is no mention of it!  I am a bit of a novice! It is certainly paired alright and it says it is an input device!
