Photos

Took a photo and it turned out strange and since this I can't delete and photos or move them, I have rest my phone, backed it up and factory reset it, tried alsorts with the memory card and it still won't sort the issue out

Hi @Vixi88,

That sounds very strange. If you are able to view the photo in the Album application, can you please tap on it once > tap it again when it's full screen and you should have three dots available.

Tap the three dots > Details/Information and get back to me with where the photo is stored.

Hi again @Vixi88 and thank you for the information.

Could you try and connect the device to a computer and remove the file from the SD card that way, or if you have a card reader on your computer and you can access the SD card that way instead and remove the photo.

If the photo/photos can't be found there, try resetting the media storage in the device as this will trigger the device to read in all media files again in case something has gone wrong there.

To do this, go to Settings > Apps & notifications > App information > tap the three dots in the top right corner > Show system > Media storage > Storage > Clear data > OK. Restart the device and wait 20-30 minutes for all media to be read in again, until then it will look like there are no pictures, in for example the Album application.
