Remove swiftkey

Good day.

How can i uninstall/delete this keyboard. I do 'force stop' for it every day. I do not want use it.

Hmm. Integrating I found I was the only perusing handling trouble. 

That was supposed to say, Interesting I thought I was the only person having trouble. 

The swipe is completely useless with SwiftKey. It defies logic. Because tapping gets the word. But if i tap, yes all of a sudden there is a period after every word. 

Gonna install Xperia keyboard see how that goes. Interesting person that prefers using T9 input. I agree with you. Loved my Walkman 995 texting on the number pad keys!

Well that was painless installing Xperia keyboard.  And hello! My swiping is actually pretty accurate now. However you can't long press to erase whole word and the predictions aren't brilliant but I'll take it.  Hope it takes the theme.

Hi, I installed the Xperia Chinese Keyboard on X Compact with Android 7.1.

Now in "Settings" ->"Languages & input" -> under "Keyboard and input methods"  -> "On-screen keyboard", I can see 2 keyboards: "SwiftKey Keyboard" on top and  "Xperia Chinese Keyboard" on the 2nd row. 

Can I change the default keyboard to Xperia Chinese Keyboard?

Or at least can I choose which keyboard to use when I type? I don't seem to see any way I can choose another keyboard to use when SwiftKey always pops up when I need to type.

Hated Swift key with their annoying sugestion bar. Don't understand Sony to preinstall this crap instead of their great own keyboard..

I am also fed up with everything about SwiftKey. If I wanted predictive text and keyboard learning I would have asked for it! Equally I do not like Messaging forcing me to use Emojs that I am charged for using!!! In short I will not buy another Sony mobile...

1) On XZ Premium, it cannot be disabled (only after installing an another one)

2) Nice to offer Gboard instead, Gboard tracks ALL(!) your typings. Including Private Banking, Accounts, etc informations... Gboard is a KEYLOGGER (almost as dangerous as a virus)!

2a) I tried to install several keyboards (downloaded from Google Play Store), they are NOT WORKING on XZ Premium (i tried several indie keyboards, and some bigger corporations' keyboards, for example ASUS's keyboard. Non of them works.

2b) Where is Sony's own keyboard? Why it is unable to download Xperia keyboard on an Xperia phone?!?!? There aren't Sony (typing)products on Google Play Store! Why?

3) I had Xperia Z and Z1 before, and now, i have XZ Premium. Best series among mobile phones ("all-resistant" Z is the best), why Sony ruining their own products with agressive(!) word-suggestions? SwiftKey could be a good product, IF(!) that suggestion bar become "uncheckable" in the options!

4) 90% of the users' rage is against that agressive suggestion bar, that OVERWRITES our sentences! (Whoa... wait a minute! That is NOT a suggestion bar any more! That is an overwriting bar! So, the rage is against the agressivity that bar pushes on us!)

5) Learn once for all: Users DO NOT LIKE agressive products! We call them MALWARES...

What OS are you using again? Android I guess, which is made by Google!

You're also using Gmail to setup your phone, also made by Google!

Did you know that you can disable word suggestion?

I really don't understand why sony changed the beautiful xperia keyboard with swiftkey.. xperia keyboard is much more easier to use. 

I  just bought xperia xa1, and to be honest I really don't like swiftkey keyboard 😑 

I hope sony will considering about discontinue it and bring back xperia keyboard.
