Maybe your device has turned a bit sluggy inside.

Too many apps.

You will be served by making a fresh start.

Sync Google (for contacts etc)

Be shure that your pictures are transferred from device to SD or computer.

You can backup WhatsApp (if you use it) as well.

Do a software repair.

Don't restore all apps. Just install the most urgently needed apps.

Your device will reward you with a long forgotten speed without hickups.

The other way to solve your problem could be to trace the problems and repair by clearing cache and data from stubborn apps. It will take some time and maybe it helps.

A fresh setup however brings more results. (no guarantee given of course, but common experience here on the forum is that it is the best solution)
