Hello, I have a slight problem with the WiFi signal of my Sony Xperia X, the signal is very weak on my phone even being close to the router, I have compared it with other phones of another brand and work much better, can you help me?

I'm sorry to hear that, could you remove any protective case and test the phone in safe mode

Safe mode will disable all third party apps that could be causing this problem.

I have the same problem. Interestingly for me, I have just replaced my phone, well, I'm trying to, with the exact same model.  Holding the older (now with a shattered screen) phone next to the brand new one, sitting 15 feet from the router, one has a full WiFi signal, and the other says it can't connect. For the new phone, I have to be within 10 feet of my wireless router to download even the XPeria and Android updates.  This is how it's been since the moment I took it out of the box. I had hoped the updates might fix it, but I have been dissapointed.

Is there any possibility this is a software thing, or do I have to return this and get yet another replacement phone?

NOTE: Neither are in cases.  I can set them both down on the same chair, carpet, or in my hands, and get the same result, so it's not my hands blocking a wifi signal.
